Svetlana Tokoucheva

Svetlana Tokoucheva is a member of the Paris Bar and co-founder of Essensis. For more than 25 years, she has been advising French companies and multinationals on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and private equity transactions, as well as on corporate law and commercial leases.

Svetlana worked at Stehlin & Associés for 23 years, during which she progressed from junior lawyer to partner. This particularly stable experience enabled her to develop considerable expertise and a proven reputation in her chosen fields.

In 2021, she decided to co-found Essensis with Cyrille Boillot. 

Svetlana is appreciated for her analytical skills and her rigorous approach to contract negotiations. Her skills are also built upon her ability to understand the financial, economic and social issues at stake in the deals she is involved in. She establishes a climate of trust with the clients she assists as part of a long-term relationship.

Naturally positive, Svetlana is a constant source of energy for the Essensis team. She brings her creativity and encourages the sharing of experience and skills with a single objective in mind: to deliver a quality service.

Svetlana Tokoucheva has a Post Graduate Diploma (DEA) in International Business Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2002.
